80th Year Heritage Scholarship

Mission Statement:

“To provide the membership with a finer and better understanding and sense of Horsemanship through association and fellowship of the members. To experience the excitement, warmth, camaraderie, and sense of accomplishment which accompanies the cowboy way. To provide the community with quality services and family quality entertainment. To always strive to preserve, promote and enhance the traditions of the “North American Cowboy”

Diamond Fork Riding Club is offering (2) $1000.00 scholarships for individuals who meet the following requirements:

  1. Applicant must have participated in a DFRC sponsored event.
  2. Applicant should exemplify DFRC ideals of community service and helping other people.
  3. Applicant should be active in community service and extracurricular activities.
  4. Applicant should demonstrate leadership skills and abilities.
  5. Applicant must be a High School graduating Senior. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 is suggested, but not required to apply.
  6. Applicant should be well rounded, hard working, and have a commitment to proven academics.
  7. Write an Essay of up to 500 words about your heritage, explaining your education, your career goals, your family and how they have impacted your life, and your plan to move forward.

Applicants must submit their application, essay, most current transcript, and two letters of recommendation from non-family members on, or before, April 10, of current year.

Scholarship funds will be made payable to the recipient/and College of choice (registration information required for payment).
